einstein's dreams

Einstein’s Dreams is a 1992 novel by Alan Lightman. The novel focuses on Albert Einstein in 1905,

when he’s working on his famous theory of relativity. Each one of the 30 chapters focuses and explores
dreams about the concept of time.

Using old film strips I had at home, I tried to warp them and showcase memories while also trying to get
across a feeling of time distorting by overlapping multiple film strips on top of one another, while also
experimenting with how the film strips interact with one another and the camera. I also combined the
footage or photographs I took with free stock images or video from Pexels and Unsplash.
